Hotel 50 Bowery combines New York City’s famed energy and rich history to create a boutique hotel defined by its unequivocal style and cultural relevance. The 229-key property developed by Alex Chu of Chu Enterprises, is conveniently located in Chinatown and celebrates the diversity and spirit of the community. The hotel is also home to a permanent art exhibit from the Museum of Chinese in America, further emphasizing the property’s deep connection to its surroundings.

Wimberly Interiors was selected to lead the design of the hotel and were tasked with blending the history of the surrounding community with influences of Chinese culture. Asian inspired furniture and accessories juxtaposed with the rigid building materials of early New York, reinforce the strength of both the American and Chinese history.

Our Solution
