After three and a half years of campaigning and restoration, the new Bute Mills facility was born. Originally a steam powered flour mill, which fed families throughout Bedfordshire nearly one-hundred years ago, Bute Mills now serves as a creative conference space and home to Luton-based charity, Youthscape. On August 24, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unveiled a plaque to officially open the new youth center. Youthscape works aimlessly to provide services and inspiration to young people in the community. To learn more about this amazing charity please visit their website at: https://www.youthscape.co.uk/

Our Solution

Bute Mills renovation was a collaboration between the globally-renowned architects, HOK, Lighting Designer Xavier Fulbright, of Lumineer Studio, and Vice UK. Vice’s luminaires were adopted for their renowned use of advanced LED technology, high performance, and sleek form. The fixtures also assisted with sustainability and energy conservation strategies.
