The HP2 Spotlight is a versatile, high-performance interior luminaire designed for precise accent lighting of artwork, displays, objects, and other focal points within interior spaces. Originally developed for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), HP2 brings together Peter Zumthor's architectural discipline and Bold Lighting's technical expertise.
Designed by Peter Zumthor, the fixture is defined by its cylindrical form, conceived for accenting surfaces and objects with a restrained presence within the architectural space. Bold Lighting led the engineering and manufacturing, translating Zumthor's design into a production-ready luminaire and developing the tilt-and-pan lever system, mounting configurations, finishes, and light-distribution options, all realized under Zumthor's design approval.
Engineered with advanced optical technology, HP2 Spotlight delivers clean, homogeneous light beams with sharp definition and minimal spill, making it ideal for focused accent lighting. The fixture offers 0° to 90° tilt and 360° rotation, with tool-free adjustability and locking, allowing for quick and precise aiming while securely maintaining the selected position.
