HE2 Downlight

HE2 is a high-performance architectural downlight designed to deliver clean, uniform illumination with a discreet ceiling presence. Originally developed for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), HE2 brings together Peter Zumthor's architectural discipline and Bold Lighting's technical expertise.

Designed by Peter Zumthor, the fixture is defined by its refined, minimal form and discreet integration into the architectural ceiling. Bold Lighting led the engineering and manufacturing, translating Zumthor's design into a production-ready luminaire and developing the optical system, construction, and range of configurations required to deliver precise performance across different applications.

Its versatile optical options provide controlled light distribution for a wide range of interior applications, while high color rendering ensures accurate and natural color appearance. Engineered for seamless integration into architectural spaces, HE2 combines visual comfort, precise illumination, and a refined aesthetic.
