  • Highlighting the nocturnal scene of the Four Seasons Hotel in Montreal, Quebec

At the heart of Montreal's iconic Golden Square Mile, against the stunning backdrop of Mount Royal, the Four Seasons Hotel combines classic elegance & contemporary style. Designed by Lemay and Sid Lee Architecture with mesmerizing lighting design by Granville McAnear Lighting Design, the Four Seasons stands out with its streamlined volumes and richly textured accents. The design embodies the luxury and refinement of the world-famous hotel brand, carefully integrated with the historic Holt Renfrew Ogilvy complex.

In this context, Bold Lighting paired with Vice providing grazers to highlight the main feature of the building, a regressed golden louver structure, emphasizing the entrance and marking the visual split of two glass volumes along the height of the main façade. Wallgrazers were used in two different mountings: a surface mounted configuration for the façade and an inground mounting configuration on the balconies. The fixture’s integrated anti-glare baffles combined with the powerful and precise performance, provided GMLD with a powerful tool to majestically illuminate this iconic building.
